Squish and squeeze the mixture, pour and add colorful decorations (you can bring tiny treasures from home), then push your hand in to make a print and you are "in stone" forever! All ages are welcome
I Love Painting! - Sea LifeTuesday, June 19th 11am, 12pm, 1pm $5Dive into this underwater painting activity with a sea of beautiful colored paints, a preprinted canvas and your imagination! We will give some directions, the group will provide inspiration! Make a place on the wall at home for this summer masterpiece. Everything provided, just bring enthusiasm! Ages 5 yrs and up
Welcome To Our Science labThursday, June 21st 11am, 12pm, 1pm $5How does it do that? Our master scientists will lead you on a journey of fun and discovery with ice crystals, marbles that become super balls, rainbow beads and bizarre flowers. Be prepared to be amazed, and increase your summer smart quotient! We supply all the ingredients, and you supply the ooh and aahs! Ages 5 yrs and up
Designing with Duct TapeTuesday, June 26th 11am, 12pm, 1pm $5Fashion from a tool box? Dad would be impressed! Yes, the newest hit in accessorizing is duct tape! We will provide lots of colorful duct tape and 3 plastic bangles. Just bring your colorful imagination and style ideas and get ready for fun! Ages 7 yrs and up
Recycled MonstersThursday, June 28th 11am, 12pm, 1pm $5This monster will make you smile! Using recycled plastic trash bags, you will work with the trash bags to create your very own recycled pal. We will supply the parts, but check with the store staff to see if they need more trash! A fun silly project, for everyone! Ages 6 yrs and up
Science on a Fossil DigTuesday, July 10th 11am, 12pm, 1pm $5What does a paleontologist do? This summer you can discover the mystery and suspense of digging for real fossils. We will dig away at the "rocks" to find signs of shark and squid that are millions of years old. It is hard work, but our staff is up to the job of leading the expedition, and kids are always up to digging in the dirt! Ages 5 yrs and up
Cupcake KeepsakesThursday, July 12th 11am, 12pm, 1pm $5Keep your summer treasures safely stashed and indulge your sweet tooth in creative fun. Using colorful felt, trim, pompoms and glitter, the trinket boxes will turn out to be sweet summer treats! Create 3 sweet boxes with all the trimmings, come for the fun. Ages 6 yrs and up
Wind Up Robot WorkshopTuesday, July 17th 11am, 12pm, 1pm $5Have a wind-up race with these wacky robots. They begin as plain blue blank "things", but you get to make them come alive with cutouts, stickers, wiggly eyes and markers. Everything is provided to make these robots unique just add your "out of this world": ideas. When the robots are done, the race is on! Ages 6 yrs and up
The Art of ScratchingThursday, July 19th 11am, 12pm, 1pm $5Take a long-time favorite activity and add 4 cool boards to begin the artful adventure of Scratch Art! You can use the templates provided, or create your own scene, maybe based on your summer vacation or an idea for the future. It is all up to you!! Ages 4 and up
Sticky Mosaics Crown & TiaraTuesday, July 24th 11am, 12pm, 1pm $5
